Demolition and Renewal

As you walk down from Ganesh Cinema to Jambhli Naka you get mixed feelings. The Thane Municipal Corp has demolished many unauthorised structures and pushed back other shops by 12 feet.


So shops have been shifted, some are being rebuilt. And hawkers are having a great time. Many shops are selling their goods at a substantial discount.


In all this melee, the Bazarpeth Police Station stands out for its small yet beautiful structure. I hope it is not unauthorised.
